Background
Spec-Crafters is an Optical Laboratory established in 2000, and solely owned by Mr. Marlon Calvert. Marlon’s passion for optics began when he started his career in 1976 at Standard Optical, his career path has lead him to vast experience and knowledge of his craft. Marlon has enjoyed many years fulfilling many of the possible roles in a Laboratory environment namely: Optical Technician, Supervisor in Fitting, Head of Quality Control, Lab Manager, Process and Product Development Manager, Consultant to eventually Owner. Marlon is hands on and manages the lab personally ensuring that his high standards are achieved.
