SpecCrafters supplies optical practices and trade customers throughout South Africa. We aim to provide reliable, efficient delivery while maintaining the service standards expected by our professional customers.

1. Delivery Options

1.1 Free Dedicated Delivery — Within 25 km

SpecCrafters offers free dedicated delivery to eligible optical practices located within a 25 km radius of the SpecCrafters laboratory.

This service is provided using a dedicated SpecCrafters delivery driver rather than a standard third-party courier service.

Free dedicated delivery is available to qualifying practice addresses and is subject to delivery routes and operational availability.

SpecCrafters reserves the right to confirm whether a delivery address falls within the applicable 25 km delivery area.

1.2 National Delivery — R120 Flat Rate

For practices and customers located outside the 25 km dedicated delivery area, SpecCrafters offers delivery nationally at a flat rate of R120 per delivery.

The national delivery rate applies to qualifying orders delivered anywhere within South Africa where the selected delivery service is available.

The R120 delivery fee is charged at checkout unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Delivery Times

Delivery times depend on the product, stock availability, order processing requirements and delivery destination.

SpecCrafters will provide an estimated delivery timeframe where possible.

For local deliveries, SpecCrafters may arrange delivery directly with the practice.

For national deliveries, orders may be dispatched through an appropriate courier or delivery service.

Delivery estimates are not guaranteed delivery dates unless expressly confirmed by SpecCrafters in writing.

3. Local Dedicated Delivery

Dedicated delivery is intended primarily for professional optical practices within the applicable delivery area.

The customer must provide an accurate and complete delivery address, contact person and contact number.

If the delivery driver is unable to complete delivery because the practice is closed, the address is incorrect, access is unavailable, or no authorised person is available to receive the order, an additional delivery attempt may be arranged at SpecCrafters' discretion.

4. National Courier Delivery

National deliveries are subject to the operating conditions and service areas of the courier or delivery provider used by SpecCrafters.

Once an order has been dispatched, the customer may receive tracking or delivery information where tracking is available.

SpecCrafters is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control, including courier network delays, adverse weather, public holidays, traffic disruptions, incorrect delivery information or circumstances affecting the recipient's ability to receive the order.

5. Delivery Address

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the delivery address supplied at checkout is complete and accurate.

SpecCrafters cannot be held responsible for delays or additional costs resulting from incorrect, incomplete or outdated delivery information supplied by the customer.

If an order needs to be redirected after dispatch due to incorrect information supplied by the customer, additional delivery charges may apply.

6. Inspection Upon Delivery

Customers are encouraged to inspect their order when it is received and to notify SpecCrafters as soon as reasonably possible if the package appears damaged or if the contents do not correspond with the order.

Where goods appear to have been damaged during delivery, customers should retain the original packaging and photographic evidence where possible.

Any notification of damage does not limit any rights the customer may have under applicable South African law.

7. Delivery Restrictions

Certain locations, buildings, remote areas or addresses may be subject to additional delivery requirements or limitations imposed by the delivery provider.

Where a particular delivery destination cannot be serviced using the standard delivery method, SpecCrafters will contact the customer to discuss an alternative arrangement where reasonably possible.

8. Delivery Charges

Current standard delivery charges are:
